Exawatt joins strategic advisory board of FutureCat project

Exawatt has been invited to join the strategic advisory board of FutureCat, a newly funded project that will investigate novel cathode chemistries for lithium-ion batteries.

The FutureCat project, led by the University of Sheffield, is a coordinated approach to discover, develop and deploy the next generation of lithium-ion battery cathode materials. Other partners include the University of Cambridge, UCL, the University of Oxford, Lancaster University, the Science and Technology Facilities Council, and nine industrial partners. The project was awarded £11m by the Faraday Institution on September 4, 2019, and will take place over four years, starting in October 2019.
