Our power electronics team offers the industry’s most detailed forecasting and analysis of SiC device and wafer demand

Talk to our team

Exawatt’s research includes a comprehensive understanding of silicon carbide (SiC) crystal growth, epitaxial deposition and front-end device manufacturing cost. We also track SiC device price and performance, along with complete analysis of the SiC supply chain. Exawatt applies this knowledge to end markets through detailed core technology analysis and demand forecasts. Our cross-vertical approach, combining our knowledge of EVs, solar PV and energy storage, allows us to understand the demand for power electronics in adjacent industries. Exawatt has also expanded its coverage to include gallium nitride (GaN).

In 2023, Exawatt was acquired by CRU, a business intelligence company that helps users gain a unique perspective of different commodity markets. With this, we have a holistic view of how specific commodities relevant to power electronics will affect all levels of the market.
